DUDES...MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!
Okay, hear this! I went to the gym yesterday and I have officially lost 8 lbs!!! In 2 and 1/2 weeks that is just right! Anyway, I'm still going. Not to lose more weight necessarily but to feel good. Last night I went out to dinner with good friends Seth and Ashley. The place had the best desserts ever. I ordered this flour less chocolate torte and took one bite. After I tasted how sweet it was I didn't touch it. It was hard, let me tell you! But, I resisted. Anyway, I'm nervous about this weekend because I'm going to Carmel and we always eat like crap at the beach house. I have to be prepared. Surprisingly, I'm not that tempted. I think my system is definitely adjusted to having no sugar. I feel liberated to tell the truth. Anyway, how is everyone doing out there? Camille, no more Splenda... Carrie, how are things in breastfeeding land?... Lisa, keep on truckin'... are you coming to dinner with Kristina and me tonight? Laurel, how's your progress?

Breakfast-
2 eggs
1/4 c. ricotta cheese
Lunch-
Whole wheat pita turkey sandwich, avocado, tomato, laughing cow reduced fat cheese
diet coke
Snack-
whole wheat cracker with cheese
Dinner-
Salmon, asparagus and fennel
dessert- 1 bite flour less torte =)

8 lbs! That is awesome!!! I wish. I have lost 4 1/2 though, and I am more than happy with that. I am so happy for you. Before I forget, I will call you but can I hire you out for Sunday the 18th to take family pictures of us? I was thinking just the girls, but we really don't have any of us together. Will you? Please? I will get working on a necklace for you, but I need specifics first before I get started.
We are going up to this town called Shelter Cove with my fam this weekend, and we always eat crap on weekends like that...so I feel for you Mandi! I won't eat any if you don't!
Food log Thursday:
B - homemade granola (THAT IS RIGHT...HOME MADE!!! Minus raisins) and 1/2 cup yogurt
snack - carrot pack
L - Cheesy chicken quesadilla on Whole Wheat tortilla
snack - string cheese
snack - peanut pack
Dinner - pepper, garlic and lemon grilled Salmon, wild rice (I wanted a lot but tried to limit myself) Soooo good, I was sick of chicken too Camille!!
snack - sugar free pudding and whipped cream...just a dab. :)
Friday:
B - 2 fried eggs, canadian bacon
snack - snap peas
L - lean beef lettuce taco's
snack - strawberries
D - In-n-out and diet coke...I didn't do protein style, but I figured I didn't really have other carbs so I am good...and no fries was hard.
snack - 1/2 cup yogurt
I have decided that I need to figure out a way to be less dependant on snacks. Any ideas that work?
