dude, one thing about this diet that is hard (besides the no eating anything that taste good...) is that you cook so much your dishes double in size. I've noticed that I have to do 2 loads of dishes a day and it is waring on me. I hate dishes to begin with...who doesn't? Lately I have been totally avoiding them and just leaving them in my sink to rot. Is that bad? I find myself looking at them and then just turning to work on something else or to wrestle with William (our new favorite sport.) Anyway, I got home tonight and laid down to rest and essentially avoid my dishes. My husband came home after working 10 hrs, commuting 2 and reading books to William for 1/2 hour. After my rest I came downstairs to a completely spotless kitchen. Is that not the most romantic thing a husband can do? He is good...really good. Thanks Ben for supporting me on this diet...even though you still have the food intake of a 7 year old...aka all white carbs and red vines diet.
Thursday-
b-oat bran cereal, milk
l- in and out protein style, grilled onions, diet coke...extra ice!
s- cherries (lowest glycemic index of fruit)
d-cheese quasadilla, whole wheat tortilla
2 tomatoes
s- choc sugar free pudding

dude totally get the dishes thing. If it wasn't for my mom I'd leave them. What am i like 16? I am very proud of myself, Erichment we had a potato bar and dessert bar. I just had salad and (chicken from earlier) and no dessert. I know this seems like i should totally have this down by now and not be tempted, but every time I triumph i am stoked and proud of myself. Eric brought home mounds of candy, stuff I have never even seen before like gourmet m&m's not coming out till end of June. Giant gummi snakes, candy coke bottles, chocolate skittles, red vines galore. (Ben, I would secretly be on the red vines diet too)
Anyways I had my ricotta creme earlier so I was good and resisted! Proud day, I am not downfalling this weekend!
P.S mandi, you know I am going to make you do this forever, I can't imagine starting my day without blogging on our "diet diaries" multiple times a day. I am soley probably your "30 hits". Love hearing your food log and dish woes....keep it coming hermana.

I was rereading a book I have called "Eat to Live" by Joel Fuhrman, M.D. According to him I am overweight, that is great! Because I know I have fat to lose.
Ideal wieght for women
"Approximately ninety-five pounds fr the first five feet of height and then four pounds for every inch thereafer." that puts me at 115-nice-He says it is a rought guideline depending on bone and body structure.
He also says your BMI (Body Mass index) should not be over 24. Under 23 is Ideal unless you lift wieghts and have a considerable amount of muscle mass.
BMI= weight in pounds X 703 divided by height in inches (squared)
mine is 25--crazy
