Okay, here we go! I am going to the grocery store tomorrow and I've compiled a list of snacks and stuff that will work with the diet. I am calling each one of you tonight to remind you of your commitment. Also, here is a link to the diets official website and more free info on the rules of the 1st two weeks.
snack ideas-
- celery with natural peanut butter
- string cheese (low fat)
- Turkey rolled up with low fat Swiss cheese
- mozzarella cheese with fresh tomatoes,basil and olive oil with balsamic vinegar and salt and pepper
- nuts with a diet coke with splenda
- Camille's cucumber salad- cucumbers, avocados, tomatoes, red peppers, lime juice s/p
Dinner ideas-
- Foil dinners with ground turkey, carrots (technically not allowed but too bad!), red peppers, onions (onion soup mix)
- steamed veggies with cheese melted under the broiler
- omelets or this looks good
- chicken bean soup (best recipe ever, just take out the chips and add low fat sour cream, salsa and avocado!!)
- Julia's corn salsa recipe with fish/grilled chicken (canned corn, black beans, tomatoes, avocado tossed with Italian dressing mix and balsamic vinegar...so good!!!!)
- veggie burgers
- steamed cauliflower mock mashed potatoes
- steamed veggies with low fat cheese on top

sweet...single me out...I just this morning happened upon all your dieting blogging. As well as getting your message on my phone as I was eating rolls for breakfast. I had sort of forgotten about the whole thing. I think I might need an intervention to get started...I'll call you later and we can discuss...I'm having concerns
Okay, I took my measurements too, I hope I lose some lbs and inches!!! I ate oatmeal for breakfast. yummy yum.
I want in. I've got a good 10 lurpy lbs to lose and my babe is 10 months old.
Ash! yay! We need to get on a conference call all togther. Day 1 I'm on the egg/gag diet! i have to figure out something else for breakfast I almost can't stomach it.
Crap. I just read no oatmeal. I was going to do a "version" of the south beach, but I think that will ruin it for me. I am all in now, especially after buying some new and exciting snacks from the store! I promise that will be my one mess-up.
