New Woman!

Okay, call me crazy but I feel fantastic! I feel like my brain is clearer and I'm not tired all day and I'm not hungry either!! I went to the gym and got on the official scale (drum role please................3.5 lbs!!!! I'm happy with that. It seems just right. not too drastic but still measurable. I'm really proud of Camille for recommitting herself to the hardcore version of the diet. To give an update on how everyone is doing, here is a breakdown of everyones progress

Leslee- doing great with a runners rendition of weight watchers. She has lost 3 lbs I think and feeling good. She hasn't had any sugar and I"m really proud of her. She is kinda the diet veteran here so look to her for advise on everything. She has helped me so much with ideas and motivation. Plus she is a really good hugger!

Lisa Wr- doing great, had a couple of sugar/white flour slip ups but isn't really trying to lose weight but just get toned for her gala on Friday Night! I will post pictures of course! She has a hot rockin' dress that she will look so good in!

Lisa W- Voted most consistent and loyal! Who knew this girl would end up being the most die hard of all. This is her first diet and she hasn't let up for one second! I don't know what her current weight loss is but I know she has lost at least 2 lbs! Keep going Lisa, we only have 5 more days!!

Carrie R- Carrie is still breastfeeding and joins us yesterday to do a south beach variation. I know she is committed and can't wait to see how well she does! She is dead serious about getting healthy and off sugar!

Laura T- I need to check in with you girl. How are things going?

Annie- I think she abandoned us the first day... but I love her as much as ever and she looks amazing so maybe it was meant to be.

Camille- Oh my Camille, she is here to stay. I'm so proud of her for adjusting and recommitting herself! Here's to another week of awesomeness!

Me- I haven't had sugar in 8 days and I feel great! Lost 3.5 lbs and going strong!

What I ate yesterday-

Breakfast- 2 eggs, cashews

Lunch- In'n Out protein style/ Diet Coke

Snack- Jello sugar free with whip topping

Dinner- Grilled mushrooms with peppers, green bean spaghetti (so good, thanks Leslee), Herbal tea

Snack- Warm milk/vanilla

PS I really think the key to success with this diet is keeping your food log everyday. If it is here or on paper keeping track is vital for staying with it!!

Monday was a hard day. Probably because I forgot to take my allergy medicine on Sunday and I am still feeling it. So I felt crappy all day, and it made me angry which mad me hungry. So I was eating anything I could all day. Plus I just started my period so the next 2-3 days might be hell.
Breakfast - omelet
snack - milk concauction...I added cinnamon yum.
snack - 12 snap peas
snack - string cheese
Lunch - spinach salad
snack - sugar free jell-o
snack - 10 almonds
dinner - Chicken lettuce taco's
snack - sugar free pudding

I know I know!!! LOOK AT ALL OF THE SNACKS. Can you tell that sweets help me get through my period or what. Major wake-up call. This is what the diet is for.

So far, I think yesterday just kept me on track with my 2 lb loss. Maybe Tuesday will be better. SOrry I posted Monday's meals on Tuesday.
